When talking in terms of business, your connections will ultimately define you. I always like say, business is 5% skill, 10% Luck, and 85% Politics. What im trying to say is.. MAKE CONNECTIONS. Just as important as making connections is KEEPing those connections. I have witnessed WAY too many people be immature about a situation and burn a bridge that they later regret.

There will come times when you meet rude, inefficient, cocky, and obnoxious business industry contacts but nonetheless, you must not burn the bridge. This is a very hard concept in the business world, but it is a concept that MUST be applied to the successful business man. A lot of times you may try to size up a business contact. You may think you know how much he is worth to you, but you never know what that contact has in store in his future. Perhaps that rude, cocky, obnoxious business man becomes the CEO of a multi-million dollar corporation, and you got left out of it because you decided to burn that bridge. The point is.. you NEVER know how any contact can benefit you in the FUTURE.

The business world is ruthless. People are vultures and they will do anything to get the upper hand and take advantage of you. Don't let people take advantage of you. If you are taken advantage of, DON'T burn the bridge. You may want to cus, assault, talk smack and do all types of rebelious acts towards the indiviadual that took advantage of you, but nonetheless: Don't burn the bridge! You never know if in the future they will have something worth while for you. (and chances are that they WILL be able to help you in the future)

I feel like a robot saying this but i can't stress enough: Don't Burn Bridges. CREATE bridges. and hold on to them tight. This may be the most important business lesson one will have to learn
